Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel hoping for a relaxing escape, but unfortunately, I encountered several issues. On the plus side, the hotel has a nice art deco vibe and is well-maintained. However, the noise levels from nearby establishments and inside the hotel made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The shower had issues as well, which contributed to a less enjoyable experience overall.
The hotel is housed in a charming art deco building from the 50s, and while it has great character, the rooms can be quite noisy, especially if you’re on the odd-numbered side. The staff can be a bit slow initially, but they do become helpful once you get their attention. I appreciated the good Wi-Fi in the lobby and the proximity to the main street and city spa, but the noise from the surrounding area made it hard to relax during my stay.
I recently stayed at this hotel, which, while charming as a vintage art deco building, fell short in a few areas. The rooms were uniquely shaped like pizza slices, but the bathroom was a tight squeeze, and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which was inconvenient. The staff was a little slow at first, but they were helpful once we communicated our needs. However, both the noise from a nearby bar and the sounds from the restaurant above made it difficult for us to rest properly during our weekend getaway. Overall, I had a mix of good and frustrating experiences here.
I had a rather frustrating stay at this hotel. It’s a charming art deco building but the lack of proper sound insulation made it hard to get any rest. The rooms are unique in shape, but their layout is a bit awkward, and the cold water in the shower was quite disappointing. The staff tried to be helpful, but they were a bit slow to respond. If you're a light sleeper, consider this a place to avoid, otherwise, it could be a decent budget stay.
The hotel has a classic art deco vibe from the 50s and is well-kept, but my experience was marred by noisy surroundings and inadequate shower facilities. While the location is convenient, especially near the city spa, the odd-numbered rooms can be quite bothersome due to wind noise. Overall, the hotel offers decent value for the location but has significant room for improvement.
